Is there a mileage limit? No, each rental comes with unlimited mileage and we encourage our customers to explore as much of the region as they can during their rental.
How much extra does motorcycle luggage cost? Bring everything but the kitchen sink because all three cases are included free of charge with each rental.
If I want a GPS on the bike how much would that cost? Nothing, all of the bikes in our rental fleet have a Garmin GPS mounted on them and it is included at no additional cost. Email us your route and we'll upload it to the GPS
How old do I have to be to rent a motorcycle? Our insurance requires our rental customers to be 25 years old.
If I bring the bike back with an empty tank, how much does it cost to have you fill it up? Currently we encourage our customers to bring the bike back with the tank topped off, as it was when it leaves here. If you’re running late and/or you don’t want to deal with the hassle, we charge a nominal fee of $5 per eighth of a tank, (a little over a gallon, which isn’t too much higher than what the fuel is currently going for!).
I have an out of state license will that work? As long as the license is valid and you have a motorcycle endorsement you’re ready to go.
What does the $2500.00 authorization do? This is an authorization-only on your credit card. It allows us to bill your card in the event you incur loss or damage to the motorcycle.
What happens if my rental bike breaks down during my rental? The bikes in our rental fleet are brand new late 2007 models with very low mileage on them; however, in the unlikely event your bike breaks down or you happen to find a nail in the roadway, we send you out with a BMW Roadside Assistance card you can call 24 hours a day for assistance. If you're within pickup distance from the shop give us a call.
If I live locally and don’t want to leave my car at your shop over night, can you pick me up from my home or business? Though our shop is in a very safe and well lit industrial park, we understand you may not want your car left unattended overnight. We are glad to make an arrangement to pick you up from your home or business; all we ask is that you give us plenty of notice so we can make the appropriate arrangements.
What if I want to ride with a passenger is there any special paperwork they have to fill out? There is a one-page waiver the passenger needs to fill out, and away you go towards adventures with that special someone.
What if I lose the key? Though unfortunate, it’s not the end of the world. We charge $75.00 for a replacement key to be made. A spare key will be made available to you.
If I rent a R1200GS can I take it off road? We encourage our customers to maximize their rental experience to the fullest; with that said according to our Rental Agreement Section 10, Paragraph (d) off road use is prohibited.
Can I rent one of your motorcycles for a track day? We encourage our customers to maximize their rental experience to the fullest; with that said according to our Rental Agreement Section 10, Paragraph (e) track use is prohibited.
Can I take your rental motorcycle out of state? Yes. Take it on a 2-week vacation to a BMW Rally clear across the country if you wish.
