Needed a new tire, was fully expecting to be told it was too late in the day, but, much to my surprise, Corwin said: No problem, I will get that handled for you immediately. New tire was mounted and balanced in less than 10 mins.

"came in last week to purchase a bike, was literally ignored by 4 people. staff was too busy or did not care. maybe say hello then leave your prospective buyer alone but ignored, very weird experience.

"Good morning,
I was in Ventura (from San Francisco) this past weekend for the National MS Bicycle ride. I was part of the motorcycle safety team. I had service done on my K1200GT in the Bay Area before I made the trip down. during my ride, I found that there was oil all over the back brake disk, tire and final drive. Saturday, while I was serving part of the safety team, I called your shop and talked to Corwin. I'm not a BMW mechanic so I didn't know what the problem was. After a brief explanation of what it looked like, Corwin knew exactly what was wrong and said that they could fix it for me. I brought it into your shop and they not only fixed it, they did it in a timely manner and even cleaned up the mess the oil had made.
I was totally impressed that they were able to get me in and solve my issue on a Saturday afternoon.
Thanks again and I'll certainly recommend your shop to anyone I know who might be in Southern CA.

"I recently purchased a used 2007 R1200RT that has low miles but is out of warranty. On Saturday October 2, 2010, I came into the dealership to speak with a service rep about the 6000 mile service that is fast approaching. Corwin spent a considerable amount of time explaining to me my different options specifically related to changing out fluids due to the age of my bike and not the miles on the odometer, seeing as how it was not used much by the previous owner. He was very knowledgeable and gave me the pros and cons of doing some of my own maintenance which I had inquired about. I felt he was being genuine and had my best interest in mind. As luck or fate would have it, as I was riding home, my on board computer showed I had a quarter tank of gas when I ran out on the 101 freeway. Howard, your service manager, was on his way home and pulled over to see if I needed assistance. He did a quick check of my bike to make sure it was fuel related and told me about faulty fuel strips on some bikes causing bad readings. He even offered to help push me off the freeway. I have to say that both Corwin and Howard impressed me as good people first and foremost, as well as being excellent ambassadors and service techs for Ventura BMW. I know I will be bringing my R12 to your store for my service needs. Thank you ! "

"Although not perfect, the service department is the best of any vehicle service department I've dealt with. The mechanics and service advisors are very knowledgable, and consciencoius. The atmosphere of the dealership is very nice, and offering loaner bikes or pick-up service is great. I have 2 other dealers that are slightly closer, but I prefer yours."

"On Weds., June 24, I was on a road-trip with my wife and my R1200C+Steib sidecar rig, up the coast from San Diego to Santa Barbara. After a seemingly uneventful ride through Malibu, I had my clutch slave cylinder go out on us as we hit Oxnard Blvd. towards the 101 N. Crap! A call to my dealer back home got the number for BMW Ventura, and I then called them from the side of the road, and spoke with Butch and Darryl in Service about my situation. Even though it was past 5:30pm, Darryl offered to wait for me to get towed there during rush hour traffic. What a lifesaver (and marriage-saver too!!!). Long story short, somehow the rig was up and running with a new slave cylinder ready for us to pick it up on the 26th, Friday, by noon, and we were back out the door and on the road home to San Diego. Still don't know how the crew managed that turn-around, but Chris took a liking to the Teutonic Twosome and made the extra effort to get her through the doors to and from service safely (with 2 inches to spare.) Absolutely stellar service and very nice to deal with. Great selection of accessories to by the way! "

"I've been meaning to thank you guys.
Last year you replaced the engine of my F650 gs Dakar.
The splines on the front shaft had worn down because I let Hollywood of honda work on my bike a 1.5 years ago. They didn't tighten the bolt that hold the sprocket on, and the bolt came off and stopped me cold doing 30mph.
Needless to say I've since then always done the work myself, but you guys really saved me. I've been back on the road for 6 months and the newish used engine has been fine.
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!! I will try and come back even though your out of my way.
When I'm ready to buy the new F800gs I will go to you.

"Recently, I have visited BMW of Ventura on several occasions. I have found that Jules and George provide outstanding sales service. They are friendly and helpful without being pushy, just the way I like it.
Colin and Dan are very knowledgeable about parts and accessories. They take the time to make sure I have the correct parts and best accessories for my needs.
I brought my GS in for repairs and an annual service. Butch immediately diagnosed the problem and explained the cause and the cure. I was also impressed with the excellent quality of the repair work performed by Howard.

"You made a customer for life out of me by the concern expressed to me by your whole staff. George worked hard to put me into a new ride but due to a "mishap" with my car, most all of what I was going to spend with you is now being used to put my car back together. I was hit by an uninsured motorist. Once this is all settled, I might have some additional money to once again talk to George.
Naturally, you were instrumental in making me comfortable with an unfortunately timed and expensive repair. And, special thanks to your technical team with their good work. I was troubled with a difficulty in getting my 1st gear once I was stopped. That is no longer a problem due to the first repair and my RT rides well and stops fast.
I'll be in after several weeks for an 18000 mile service and maybe pick up some accessories.
